The 80's were fun!

So, if you want to get a real good look at what we wore (I graduated in '89) you need to rent 16 Candles, Breakfast Club, Better Off Dead, Pretty in Pink and laugh yourself silly about the way we dressed and wore our hair! It's just like that!

We watched all of those and my daughters thought it was the coolest thing ever...I thought they'd just laugh themselves silly when they saw it. I'm a fabulous shopping consultant for them, though, in their eyes, because I knew what it was like. Perhaps I'll help them make big hair for fun! I hope the short hair doesn't come back, or the big glasses...those were awful!

80's are so back. All the outfits with the ruffled skirts and leggins and the extra belts that you see on the young tv starts. I so did that already about 1987-1989. The bob, I love the look but with my natural waves I look like rosanna rosanna danna. That's from before the 80's though.

A few years ago my daughter came to me and was telling me all about this great band and how they sounded. I had to laugh when she put BonJovi on...sigh...I saw them on the jersey boardwalk before they became stars... and as for the tight jeans I remember laying on my bed and struggling to get my jeans zipped. The problem after that was getting up, I couldnt bend over in'em (I was a size 6 then but thats a whole other memory lol) Graduated in "87"

IDK, the 80's thing was really popular when i was in high school and that was 3 years ago... I spent a year in high school in my new area to get some upgraded credits and the rockabilly thing was in, vintage 60s and 70s as well.
