1quail die evey day what am i doing wrong they are eating the food and drinking i have 1 left out of 7

I don't know anything about hatching out quail so hope someone comes along that has...You do have them in a brooder right with a heatlamp?...no drafts?...

What kind of quail? What are you feeding them? What are you brooding them in? How warm is it in there? What are you using for a water bowl? Did you show them the water? How is the poop? Were the active? Were they chirping a lot? Jenn

You need to change their light. All game fowl are very light sensitive (they need near darkness to sleep), I had high loses until I starting using a ceramic bulb (the reptile ones that last 5+ years) Since I changed, my loses dropped to next to none.

Many others use colored bulbs, white light just seems to over stimulate them and they don't sleep like they should.
