Found 1rst eggs today in mudd in chicken yard 19 weeks and one day . Would it be a good idea to put egg in nesting box , would this help them to figure out where to lay them or will they just have to figure out on there own?

Yes, eggs show hens where to lay. But do not use real eggs. Use either fake ones or golf balls.
    Congrats on the egg!
