Here's a post from the local chicken board where I've been posting about the swap, it's from someone in Radford, don't know if she posted on here or not -

"This is the closest of one of these meets that I'll be able to attend. All on the other side of the state have taken me around 4 to 5 hours to get there. Leaving home at 5 a.m. with a load of birds and traveling that far is not exactly a pleasant trip, especially when I have to return the same day! This meet will only be an hour away. Yay!!!

I have several young roosters for sale: White Sultan, Single Comb Nankin, Black Tail Buff Japanese, Buckeye, Cuckoo Maran, Spangled Russian Orloff, and also some pairs of chickens: Red Cornish Bantam and Brassy Back Old English Game Bantam. I also have turkeys for sale: Young Narragansett pair and a young White Midget hen--not sure how I will transport those, as I only have a car.

I'm looking forward to meeting more chicken people on this side of the state. Some of the places that we used to meet to sell a few birds are no longer available."

Where is this located? I would LOVE to come with DH. Nov 1st is our anniversary, so I may be able to talk DH into a couple new pets I have three roos that need homes or a stew pot, two black australorps and one buff orp.
