Have been checking the nest boxes the last week or so just SO anxious for my first bantam egg. About 5:30 I thought I would peek in again even though I was sure there would be none............well there was the cutest little light brown egg with speckles on the big end!! Wow......... The culprit even layed it in the box! It weighs 1/2 an ounce or 15 grams. Guess that is a real quarter sized egg! After 16 years this is still exciting. So I don't have to wait until spring.
