There's a baby in there! I was so excited about ducklings I started the first egg I found, then another 2 days later, and 2 more each day after that. Plus my shipped duckie eggs should be here tomorrow. So... I'm looking at another incubator for lockdown.
But I candled the first one, there's a nice dot and veining on day 5! (yeah, I checked early) (actually, I checked 2 days ago too, but nothing definite) I'm thinking it will be Pekin x Domestic Mallard.
Now I need to keep my hands off it and let cook, and stop being so excited. Not like you can rush them or anything.
Why do ducks have to take 28 days? Man!
But they're developing!!
(<---- exactly what I did when I ran downstairs to tell my husband!)
