1st time chicken owner here. And I'm finally happy to say we got our very first egg today! It's so tiny! But it was delicious! I call it my $3,000 egg. LOL

I ordered 10 different breeds of chickens from Meyers. They hatched on August 28th. Making them all 21 weeks and 4 days old today.

My question is... Who laid it?

I'll give a list of the 10 different breeds of hens I bought. And any guesses are appreciated.

With the dark brown speckles, I'm guessing it could be one of my Black Copper Marans. But it's just a guess on my part.

I think I can rule out my Blue (BBS) Ameraucana, Cream Legbar, and my Easter Eggers. Since they're "supposed" to lay a blue or green egg. And my Cookies & Cream are "supposed" to lay a cream colored egg.

For hens I have:
1x Blue (BBS) Ameraucana
1x Buff Orpington
1x Cream Legbar
1x Rhode Island Red
1x Black Jersey Giant
1x Frizzled Easter Egger
2x Fibro Easter Eggers
2x Black Copper Marans
2x Buff Brahmas
2x Cookies & Cream

Thanks for all the guesses and responses in advance!

Not really sure how to do one. Sorry. This is still new to me. Not sure what I'd be looking for. That's why I joined Backyard Chickens. To learn. I've learned a lot of helpful things already, since joining here.

Which one of your girls has a bright red comb?
My guess, is its the Black Copper Maran in the 2nd picture. Her sister in the first picture is more pale. Which is another question I have. I have 2 Black Copper Marans. Yet they don't look alike. The one in picture #2 has a lot more "Copper" in the neck than the 1st one. Is this common with Black Copper Marans?

chickens are individuals, so it's not uncommon for them to be a bit different.
