Gloria, what a beautiful BA! Mine laid about 5 eggs per week. I don't do light in winter so she hasnt laid in a bit. She is a sweet girl too.

Just out of curiosity, what color is your Australorp ' legs, and the bottom of her feet. Most have black eyes, black/charcoal legs and yellow soles on their feet. You may have a special strain there.

Her legs and feet are charcoal grey. I don’t recall the bottom of her feet. But I will specifically look tomorrow
