1st Egg For Me! But, a question! *now with pic*

Congrats, I have 22 EE hens, 17 weeks, 1 started laying this week (early) and both times lonely egg in middle of the floor. My other flock adjusted to nest boxes ok, a few still prefer the floor/corner though.

Does it matter what color the golf balls are? I reeeeally want to encourage laying in the nest boxes. I have some golf balls laying around, but I don't think any are white.
