Yes, very normal.
Early (pullet) eggs start smaller and grow over time to full-sized. Also unusual eggs (double yolkers), odd shells, etc. are more likely early on as their systems mature.
That said, the eggs are perfectly edible. Congratulate them and enjoy!

I've always fed a 20% 'all flock' type feed.Is it time to change feed? Almost done with the starter 20% for layers. What is the next step? Thanks in advance!
