1ST Night outside

Just put my girls outside today, (at least I hope they are all girls)

I'm missing the chirps already,

figure they were a week old when I got them on 1 Oct,

Learning is harsh I guess and hope I did this right

First night out is quite a triumph, I didn't sleep at all when mine spent their first night out in the coop.

Guess this is what "Empty Nest Syndrome" is really about..

The next big hurdle will be when those "peep, peeps" turn into clucks and cackles when the teenage hormones start up.

Hope you got some rest and they had an uneventful night.

I'm keeping mine inside through the winter due to laziness. They are a bit younger than yours, hatched on the 18th. Wecome to BYC and don't worry too much.
