I'd say she's about 7-8 months now? Not exactly sure except that I do know she laid an egg once already, so she must be of age. And I got her from a friend that breeds polish and polish frizzles & such. She has a variety, so I doubt it could be something genetic from inbreeding or similar? But any ideas are appreciated. It's very puzzling. How old is she and where did you get her?
I wouldn't be able to rule it out, but it would be very strange for a snake to reutrn everytime she lays. Their coop is a chicken tractor thats moved daily. We also have an "suburban" yard bc we live on the edge of a subdivision...so not really snake environment. I've never seen a snake in the 3 years we've lived here. But good thinking. I think it's something going on with the hen though. Because I've not seen any sign of egg eating either. Can't figure it out :/Snake in coop?
