We are thinking now of adding two portions off each side, 1 for more shade and one will be high enough for a round bale to fit under. Neither will need to be fully sided, just roofed.

This is awesome! I am getting two baby goats on October 2nd and was trying to decide how to build their enclosure. Hope you don't mind, but I am borrowing your plan. It is inexpensive and looks good, just my cup of tea.

What does creosote do? Preserve it? Why not just primer?
