You are right. I got up at 3am after 3 hours sleep to see if there was any progress. Been up for an hour an a half watching one hatch. 2nd one on it's way. But had to give into temptation and go back to bed now or I won't manage to wake to get kids to school! Ha ha

Yay! Yeah. Lol. I wouldn’t be sleeping! Drive my husband nuts!

Update..2nd one was out when I got up this morning. 3rd one popped out 5 hours later. And now 4 and 5 have pipped this evening! Am so excited. Looking like a very good hatch.

And number 4 is out. My last egg has made a bigger pipp. On track for 100% first hatch. Though number 1 (Strawberry) is already showing themselves to be a bit of a bully.

Omg they are so cute. Congrats!
I'm on day 20 (in 4 hours exactly) and I can't wait to see their little beak (no pip yet)!
So stressful and exciting at the same time!

Wow! That’s fantastic! I hope I do nearly as well when I finally can start mine. I’m hoping to be able to have some eggs to put in on Tuesday. What incubator are you using?

I got 100% hatch. All 5 eggs. They are a mix of Icelandic and Norwegian Jaer chicken. I hatched these in a homemade incubator!
A styrofoam box with a standard light bulb as heat supply. And wire mesh in front. No fan. And damp clothes to get my humidity up. Am so chuffed
