Just have a plan B, roosters need a plan B set up and ready to pull him from the flock if needed. Be aware of him, especially as he gets to be 4 months+ of age. If you only have children visit you, then discuss the rooster before they get there. Running, yelling, jumping all very normal childhood actions, can upset a rooster.
Just be aware and have have a plan B. If anyone had a fool proof way of raising perfect roosters - they would be very popular on this page. Roosters are a crap shoot. Know that how they are acting today - is no indicator how they are going to act tomorrow.
