1st time setting turkey eggs

Do you set them pointy end down like chicken eggs ? Temp/humidity seem to be the same
Pointy end down. Temperature the same as for chicken eggs. I try for 30 -35% humidity during incubation and 65 to 70% during lockdown. They take 28 days but it is not uncommon for them to hatch a day early.

We had more success when we upped the temp to 100.5 and the humidity to 72. Went from a 50% hatch to 80%.

Temperature is dependent on whether you are using a still air or a forced air incubator and the accuracy of the thermometers being used.

1st one hatched and 2 more pipped. That's 3 outta 5 that we fertile. Lots of unfertilized eggs.
