1st time trying to hatch with a broody hen.

We have 5 in the incubator hatched out and healthy now. I tried to help a 6th one, because it had pipped yesterday afternoon and has not done anything else. I read the article on in and watched a couple videos. I wrapped in the a warm wet paper towel. I used tweezers starting where she pipped but, I then saw blood from there. I put dry paper towel on that till the bleeding seemed to stop. I left the wet paper towel on and put her back. I hope she will be ok.

She was fine, hatched on her own after I helped a little. We got 10 out of 12 eggs from the incubator. Broody scored 0 out of 9 eggs.
