Mine is made out of privacy fence, after Hurricane Ike took this city out and made it flat, we went around and picked up fencing off the sides of the road, and my coop has an actual size door gate, so its big to get into and lock, we added side doors smaller about the size of a 1/2house window for egg collecting, across the top front, Ventilation all across for air, behind that they roost and can see across the yard

I moved on to a 2nd coop!!!! lol and didnt have a coop but only a run, found this in someone's trash and pulled it home, spray painted and put fan grills as a door, also has deep litter
and then I wanted MORE!!! lol
and built these behind the main coop which is my privacy fence coop. This is the first one, built another next to this one, the same size. Use it for not more than 2-3 hens or babies they are both the same size which spans the backside of the main coop.
AND THEN....lol yup wanted more!!!! I added ducklings, in a kennel run that spans something like 10'x20' long and I came across a FREE DOG HOUSE!!!! on craigslist that is 4x4x4 1/2' its HUGE!!! must have been for a great dane???
I covered it with a tarp from sun, and covered the roof with a tarp until we can check it against leaks, we had to have a place to put them, a cold front was coming in. We want to also raise it off the ground and add a door for incase we need to lock them up.
