Monster egg

Out of curiosity I've gotten in the habit of weighing my larger eggs. They typically run 55-60g. I have 4 Jersey Giants pullets (3 black, 1 Blue) and I assume they're laying those eggs. I saw this egg and I was shocked at the size, so of course I had to weigh it. And yes, this came from a chicken, I only have chickens. I say that because a friend I texted the picture too thought I got ducks or turkeys to get an egg that big

That is crazy! Stupid question, but do larger eggs sometimes mean they’re double yolkers?

I hadn't thought about that. This is my first abnormally large egg . . . I'll go candle it

Looks like it could be a double yolker. Should I incubate it?
