Out of curiosity I've gotten in the habit of weighing my larger eggs. They typically run 55-60g. I have 4 Jersey Giants pullets (3 black, 1 Blue) and I assume they're laying those eggs. I saw this egg and I was shocked at the size, so of course I had to weigh it. And yes, this came from a chicken, I only have chickens. I say that because a friend I texted the picture too thought I got ducks or turkeys to get an egg that big

Looks like it could be a double yolker. 🤔 Should I incubate it?
I would not. While it is possible to get one or two healthy chicks out of it, it is much more likely that you get none. It is not unusual for one or both chicks to develop but they don't have the room to hatch. It is a high stress situation and generally requires a lot of hands-on assisted hatching for limited success.

If you enjoy high stress and drama with a low chance of success you can try. Some people do. The normal recommendation is to only set eggs that are the normal size a hen lays, not the unusually small or large, to reduce the stress and drama and to give you a better chance of success. But that is only if you want the best chances for success and don't want the drama.
