We decided to get some chickens. Only 4 or 5... we now have 22.
We have Buff Orphingtons, Silkies, Red Star, Leghorn, and others.

This year we bought 4 Easter Egger pullets from TSC. They crow. Free to a good home! :)

We bought a coop from TSC last year for about $500 and it is junk. So, I just built my first coop.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you
La Cage Au Fowl!
Cluckingham Palace!
Poultry Palooza!

worried about those nails coming thru the ceiling- some chickens may get hung up on them.

Also open window will let preds in especially those that can fly in. Need to line the inside window opening with hardware cloth to allow air in but, no visitors.

Otherwise looks Great!!!

Welcome to Backyard Chickens Mike! We are glad you joined the flock!:welcome BYC is a helpful site providing all of the information you need to know about poultry. There is always space for more members on the BYC roost!:highfive: Your coop's external look exhibits an exquisite appearance. You should create an article showing pictures of your coop. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!
