Hello, I have a 2-3 week old Olive Egger which is a mix of a Americana and a Silver Ruds blue. Her variety is Splash.

Im worried because her comb is red and starting to form into three rows.

Is this too early? Should I check back in in a few weeks? Does anyone know her gener?

Yea, unfortunately the only thing that would really work at this age is sexlink feathers (which most breeds don't have).

Keep an eye on the comb and wattle around 6-8 weeks. If they stay yellow/light pink, you will likely have a pullet. If they start turning a dark red and the wattle starts hanging down, you likely have a cockerel.

Good luck in your journey!
