We put our 2, 4 week old chickens in the backyard with 2 hens. There was a little pecking involved, nothing to bad.
We have a separate area for the chicks to go into when they are 6 weeks, that looks into the main coop.
At what age do we put all hens together.

Well, if they are ok with each other, I'd keep on with what you're doing for a little longer. Give them a little more time in the open, because getting along in the open is different than in a confined coop situation plus there's the food differences with 4 week olds. I noticed that when numbers are small, there's less competition, so that is a good thing, still, unsupervised inside can be very different.
