2.5 wk chicks - maybe blood in stool?

I have 4 cute little 2.5-3 wk chicks. Today I noticed that some poop looks like it has red in it. It isn't bright red and I can't tell if it's actually blood. If it is blood, should I assume it's coccidiosis? I'm not sure how they even get that - we have a flock of 2 yr old birds but have never dealt w sickness before (thank goodness). We bought them at tractor supply and I haven't noticed anything before today.

They're behaving normally...eating, running around, drinking.

Just unsure if we should wait to confirm there is blood. I'll attach pics, but unfortunately I had wiped the poop up off the garage floor before I thought to take a picture and so it's smeared and doesn't look quite like I did when I noticed the odd coloring.

It could just be intestinal shed but the color in the second picture looks a bit more red than normal. I would personally start them on corrid. The dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water or 1.5 tsp of the powder for 5-7 days. Make sure not to give any supplements/vitamins with vitamin B in it during that time.

Also be sure the Corid water is the only source of water during treatment period, and make a fresh batch daily.

Oh, good to know! I was going to make a gallon and just keep using that to fill their water until it ran out. I'll make it fresh each morning. Hadn't thought of that
