2 BASICS FROM CHILDHOOD

hands down (for me) a hot homemade biscuit with scrambled eggs...slightly 'undercooked'. oh yeah.

then there's always the one my grandma would give me...a nectarine in one hand and a plum in the other!
(Granny's, we all need one!)

One of my favorite places to go was my aunt Barb's farm. They had the whole spectrum of animals and whatever we could catch & tame...raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels... my aunt was happy to see whatever we drug into her house.
Uncle Bill worked at Hershey foods and you haven't tasted a Hershey bar till you had one that was made that morning!!!

Soft scrambled eggs, grits, a slice of ham and biscuits with ham gravy.

That is what my Grandmother used to make for breakfast when we would visit in the summer

I break yolks, now I cheat. Put some butter or whatever in a pan, add the eggs, turn the heat down to medium low, and put a lid on the pan. They're done when there's a skin over the yolk. No broken yolk
