2 Black Copper Marans hens

Up for auction, 2 Black Copper Marans hens. They hatched in August 2009, so they are 7 months old. They have nice feathered shanks and are Wade Jeane/Channing Grisham lines. Lay very dark eggs. I have a picture of one of the eggs in with Ameracauna, Silkie, and Cochin eggs for comparison. I can provide pictures of the birds, but right now my computer is being stupid (the egg picture was one I uploaded previously).

Thanks for the link. If someone is interested and can find a cheaper box, that's ok with me. I will have to weigh the birds again, though, because the last time I did it (though it wasn't very accurate) the birds were 6 lb. each. The economy box has to weigh less than 10 total.

Ok...so I went home to weigh the birds (9 lb weight-birds without box), and I noticed that one of them has a slightly malformed foot (never noticed before). Talked to my vet, who assures me that it is due to humidity or temperature fluctuation during incubation, NOT genetics. I am including pictures (best I could do by myself), so that you can see it. It is very subtle-obviously, because I didn't notice until today, but just want to let people know. It is the bird's right foot (on the left in the picture):

Also, since I have the correct weight, they can fit in an economy box which is $20 (15.95 + cost to ship box to me). If you want to calculate shipping on the USPS website, use zip code 47906, the dimensions of the box are 16" x 16" x 16", and add $20 to the total calculated for the box. Thanks!
