These two are the same age, i think they are 3-4 months old. I'm Thinking two boys. The blue Cochin i know for sure is. The golden laced is developing shiny feathers on its back, so I'm thinking roo on him to. They are bantams.

This is suppose to be a black astrolourp. has white feet. Pullet? shes about 5 months old

I agree with the blue being a roo but, the golden laced is feathering in like a pullet. My golden laced bantam cochin roo never looked like that but, my pullets did.

The australorp is a pullet :)

Yes, I do. That chicken is pullet colored. My one pullet had us all confused for a long time. She even tried crowing right along with her brother...made an awful noise!!! Never a true crow. She has now been laying eggs for 8 months! Her brother went on to have beautiful gold, blue, green and purple feathers. He was one of the prettiest roos I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I lost him to Marek's :(

ok hopfully it is a girl. i thought it was till the red feathers and shiny pointy feathers developed. Its comb and wattles are smaller than the roos. I entered it in a show at the fair as a pullet. Even tho it may not be the best looking cochin the shows just for fun. I was worried i entered it in as the wrong gender. Ill post pics in a few weeks and show how it develops. Thank u for ur reply

I just noticed the saddle feathers, too...he really is colored much differently then my roo was...sorry :(

Check out those obvious saddle feathers. I'm sure that's a boy, no doubt about it.
