I just treated one of these and the key is in keeping them still for two weeks.

I will do that tonight. I splinted them about 30min after the injury originally occurred.
I have a video I am trying to post, its 14 seconds but keeps telling me it is too large

Popsicle sticks and vet wrap. Halved the sticks so they were not too long. Run from body all the way to knee

That bone is really hard to splint and incorrect splinting can sometimes make matters worse.
