We are in need of rehoming two Cayuga ducks about 5 months old. They are beautiful, but I cannot tell if they are male or female yet. We just can't keep them in our small yard with neighbors.

I am in North Central AR and if they are female, can take them both if you dont find anyone closer. We have a male cayuga and 5 females not cayuga. Our pond is an acre and a half and we have 55 acres.

slippednfell, That is quite a ways away, but if I can’t find anyone closer, I will let you know! I’m not sure if they are male or female. I’ll try to post a pic.

I know there is a distance and certainly if you can find someone closer, that would be great. If not, maybe we can meet part way? From the photo it looks like the b/w one is female. The other, I can't quite tell if there is a tail curl or not. (I think the curl is evident in my images on my male.) 20200514-IMG_4036.jpg

Oh, thank you for that info! I can clearly see the curl on your drakes, but would I see that on mine at 5-6 mo? Do you have a house for yours at night? I do have a friend’s pond they could go to, but there would be no night security. I will let you know if I can’t find anyone closer, I would be willing to meet halfway. How close are you to Joplin?

We are two hours south of Branson, MO. Not sure how far from Joplin. I can't remember when the curl on the tail appeared but I think it by 5 or 6 months. I have a pen with a duck house in it. My ducks have tunneled out so they can come and go as they please. We fixed it a few times but they just do it again. We let one of our dogs run at night so the ducks are actually protected if out after dark. We have wild ducks and geese visit during migration too. 20200407-IMG_3287.jpg 20200407-IMG_3279.jpg 20200407-IMG_3268.jpg 20200324-IMG_3157.jpg

We are still looking for a home for the 2 cayuga ducks. Are you still willing to take them? I'm pretty sure we have one male and one female. We just can't keep them in the suburbs where we are. I could meet you in Springfield or possibly Nevada, MO if you could get up that far?
