you will need vents up high away from the chickens so they can't get a cold draft. especially in the winter. You'll want the humidity to escape but no drafts on the chickens. Chicken wire is not good for predators, they will tear that apart. That is, IF you have predators. Raccoons, dogs, fox, etc. it is good for the top of the run to keep hawks away. plywood would start buckeling if it gets too much water. I'd build the whole frame with the pallet wood, and use the plywood inside. Remember, they have to have it made for those cold winter months in case it drops below single digits or below zero.
