I made 2 brooders for my little ones that are now 3 weeks old. I created a cardboard oval for each butted them together with an adjoining door. I block the door to each side so I can keep them celan with out too much stress. Now when they get bigger they will need more room in there can I just open the doorway? Will they know to spread out a bit? Or should I just make it one big oval instead of 2 for when they get bigger?

Photos of this oval area?

Without seeing it I'd assume just opening it up would be the best course of action, but not sure how big these are/how these are connected.

The ovals are made of cardboard about 30 inches tall and I put them together end to end and cut a doorway through to connect the 2. I will get a pic later.

Here is a pic of the 2 brooders . I have since screened over both and opened the door. I tossed in a handful of snack things and well they checked it out.
