YES, I do that, too! I think it's a pip, until I look closer .... !!!

I think I set mine about 12 hours behind you. My Sportsman has done well with keeping the temp stable, and most of mine have been pipping right on day 21. Then I get the stragglers into day 22. We'll see .... time will tell!

Good luck!

Oh my gosh! That is perfect. Some of each color!! I love them all, but my favorite is the splash. Mine is a hen, I don't know what a splash roo looks like but I know they have to be gorgeous!

How exciting Kathy! Ahhhh you gave away those cute little Turkens.....

I have 11 chicks out this morning and plenty of pips.I probably wont take them out till tommorow morning and take pictures.I cant tell without getting them out which are the rosecomb RIR's and which are buckeyes. There are also three or four olive eggers I forgot I put in there to.

Well my incubators must be a little more correct than usual because I don't have any pips yet. So waiting....

My White rocks that were due today are still hatching out so I expect the Buckeyes tonight and tomorrow. I don't want to wait!! If I look at them any more often, they will come out blind.

Sounds like the world will have a lot more buckeyes pretty soon.I just hope I can tell the buckeyes and the RIR,s apart.I believe the RIR's are darker as chicks and the buckeyes darken out when they get feathers.I did notice darker and lighter chicks but with the cabinet bator you can not see them good without opening up the bator.

No action here in Missouri yet. I woke up to humidity dipping to 55%. I like to keep it between 60 - 65%. I'm on day 20 now. I think I am 12 hours behind Germaine. I expect pips to begin tomorrow afternoon, as that is how the past few hatches have done. Jen, you are a day or two later. Boy, we are gonna have lots of Buckeyes pipping soon!

Congrats James, on your new peepers! What else ya got incubation?
