2 day old chick not eatting

I have two 2 day old chicks. Yesterday they were fine. Today one is not eatting, walking around with his/her eyes closed and it's rump is wet. What is this and what can I do for it. The other is fine. As soon as I found them I took them out of my coop and have them in a "Kritter Keeper" so I can watch them. Thanks, Debbie

HI! You did the right thing by isolating them.

How about some more info....any runny noses/eyes?
Droppings...normal, runny, bloody?
Feed...medicated?

I would start out by adding a bit of cider vinegar to their water. That will give them a little boost. You can also try some infatn poly visol vitamins. No iron.

Are they eating? If they wont eat their regular food, try coaxing them with some warm oatmeal, maybe mix in a 1/2 tsp plain yogurt if you have it.
