2 day old chick that won't stand on its own!

I have a 2 day old chick that will not stand on its own. It's healthy. While holding it, it had a bm/urine. It will kick and push off my hand. I will stand it up and put my fingers on the sides of it to give it a chance to get its balance and stand. It will, and I thought I was making progress last night, but this morning it was back onto its side. It's very alert and makes alot of noise. The only thing other thing is, is that the one wing looks a little short. He can move it, but it doesn't seem to keep it down. Any suggestions?
