Think chick was at the wing end of the shell and had it's head pinned under it's legs yes I helped it hatch and is it slowly. I'm feeding the chick mashed chick feed with a little soluble poultry vitamin water chick has perked up quit well but I have to spoon/ syringe feed it and now it's had what looks like a bloody poo. I believe my chick feed is medicated and none of the other chicks have poo like this any idea?

forgot to add his stomach I guess makes a gowling noise when I feed him when that starts to happen he does not want to eat any more and then he has a poo. I'm thinking he a failure to thrive :( which is hard ontop of the fact as this morning I candled a egg that went on lock down about 3-4 days ago I checked and the chick had died to big for the shell :(

Right I got pictures of my chicks head found out why on eye won't open it waters I guess and t gets dry and shuts the eye. But is it me or is it's head not right? Any thoughts what I should do?

Not yet I need to feed him. I also noticed it does not really open it's eyes all that much either..

Poor little thing. :hugs You could very well be right about failure to thrive, I'm sorry to hear about your candling - hopefully you won't have any more die in the shell.

I agree the head looks "off" but it could be due to what looks to me as a swollen eye - you mention that she keeps the eye closed - have you taken a look in the eye to make sure there is no debris in it? It could be a genetic deformity or problem from incubation - these things are sometimes hard to nail down.

If you have Poultry Nutri-Drench give her 1-2drops per day and try to keep her hydrated. When you feed him, I assume its wet chick starter or something quite mushy - does the crop fill at all? Since she's having to poop as you describe after feeding her a bit, her internal organs may not be developed enough (yet).
I know it's hard, but do the best you can, give her a few days to see if she perks up, but if she declines further, then you may need to end her suffering.

Keep us posted.

Ya I'm doing poultry vitamins + save a chick type water stuff to make mush chick feed she seem to drink out of the chick water I checked her eye don't see anything but it's really watery and wonder if that like glues her eye shut?. wonder if the eye socket might be to small? I have heard of ppl raising chicks like this but I guess it falls down to can they drink and eat on their own and does it seem like they are in pain?

UPDATE: went up stairs were I keep the chicks and Gru (just remind me of him lol) was running round with the others the screwy up was open so thats good no full crop but I fed it some of the vitamin mash and put it on a spoon and Gru ate it quite quickly so they have a full crop did not hear that werid gurggle sound after this feed and the eye does not seem so large so I'm wondering if one of the other chicks bumped it and it hurt it some how cuz I had to help this chick hatch and it was the last chick out.
