I put my 3 eggs into the incubator 19 days ago. yesterday was lock down.
I was worried about these eggs, they all had the saddle air sac which I have never dealt with before.
I ordered these eggs from the same place I did the last few times and have had great success, 5 of my 6 bantams hatched last year, Josie my Light Brahma hatched, the other's I put under my broody hen did not, they were growing but suddenly stopped. I don't know if it was her inexperience or that it was extremely hot for a while at that time. Josie I hatched in my incubator.
2 eggs I incubated were actually from my hen and they hatched.

So. I candled before locked down and they were doing good seen some movement. Today I hear loud peeping like there was actually a little chick in my room, even one of my dogs heard it.
Well low and behold. at least of of the chicks is peeping loudly now that it has internally pipped

So fingers crossed everything stays good.
I have 2 light Brahmas and a Barred rock.

When I seen how saddled they air cell was I put them in an egg carton and kept them pointy side down until the day before lock down..

I hope to have little chicks to show you in a few days
