So we are due to go into lockdown on Thursday, well at least for 1/2 our eggs... We set the first 17 on a Sunday (March 6) and the other 18 on Monday (March 7) both were in the afternoon. So my question is, When do we go into lockdown? Late Thursday? Friday afternoon??? (Using LG still air, 100.4 temp and 50% humidity) Things seem to be going good so I don't want to screw up now! Thanks in advance for more chicken knowledge!

I am glad you posted this question because I was going to ask the same thing.

We set 6 today and will set 12 tomorrow around the same time, so I was wondering when our lockdown day would be. We have a while yet, but good to know ahead of time.

I do a continuous hatch here. . . I know, I know, you're not supposed to, but I've been doing it for 3 years now and can't seem to quit now. I just push the eggs that I don't want to turn into one corner and don't touch them. It doesn't seem to matter that I still keep lifting the lid and turning the other eggs, so I really have no "lockdown". When in doubt, I think about all they go through when they are hatched under a hen. They seem to manage even if things aren't 100% perfect.
