2 differnt species of quail breeding?? PICS ADDED

i was given a male bobwhite quail and had him in the same pen as my pharoah quail. turned out my pharoh quails a female. they have been mating and my female has started laying again. if i was to hatch the eggs what would i get? can the eggs hatch?

and the female pharoah quail-shes bigger than him

Actually, there is a bird called the Bob Bird. They have a incubation period the same as regular coturnix eggs. Give it a try.

Probably nothing but it is possible. The offspring would end up sterile though most likely.

Where have you heard this? They are in fact a mixed breed
