2 egg ?

ok i have 2 ?

1st my buff orphington gave me 2 normal eggs and now we only get soft shell eggs from her at night its been over a month so I am sure this is perment thing. the ones that stay intact I get and take out of the soft shell put in bowl with lid and put in fridge. so my ? how long are those good for in the fridge with out the shell. can I keep them for like say a week?

2nd I have to leghorns 6 months old both went broody one day of each other I broke both of them in 24 hours with no prob but they both stoped laying eggs that was over 2 weeks ago they still have not started up again how long after they go broody dose it take for there egg makes to start up again?

What are they eating? Laying an egg takes calcium. Try giving the BO some extra calcium either oyster shell or egg shell. No idea how long a egg out of its shell will last in the refrigerator. I know you can freeze them.

Starting to lay again after being broody is an individual thing. Some times two weeks sometimes a month or more.
