2 eggs from one chicken just now

Ok I am 90% certain my Golden Laced Wyandotte just laid two eggs. I have 5/7 who are laying so far and 3 had already laid this morning, I went home at lunch Goldie was in the next box, no eggs in the roll out tray and had already collected 3 eggs. 30 minutes later before I left I checked again and there were two warm eggs in the roll out area and they are identical in color and size, and they are her egg color they are all a little different I can tell so far. At first I thought all 5 who are laying had laid today then when I got inside and compared them I realized they were identical. The only other brown egg layer who had not laid is my barred rock who lays bigger and darker eggs. IF Roxanne (BR) lays today then its proof positive because the only non-layers are the Americauna and EE

I find "mysteries" in my nest boxes on occasion that defy common sense. Don't you wish you could rig a camera in the nest box to see what's really going on?

I do plan on cameras, I just added a router in my garage so I have good internet signal in the coop. I have an internet enabled smart plug to turn on my lights in the morning.

I read the other day that this can happen (I was doubtful reading it) that an egg slows down for some reason and another starts down the system and pushes it out. The thing is I collected them still warm, and they are identical color and Goldie was in the next box just prior. I have no bedding in the boxes it could have been hiding in or missed from before (and they were warm) if I get an egg from my BR today then there is no mystery, someone would have had to lay two eggs. If the BR takes the day off then I guess there will be some room for doubt.

Lol I am a chicken watcher! I get a bit of grief about how much time I spend with them.

We are certain that our isa brown laid two eggs on two different days when she was just getting started. Since the first wonky week, she's been such a good girl, so reliable, one pretty brown egg every morning
