I thought everyone would enjoy seeing updated pictures of all the babies you have prayed for and cheered on, I was able to get this picture of Ray today, he's turned into a beautiful Drake, I was shocked to see his entire head covered in green today..He's grown up way too fast!

My husband is on love with this sweet baby and despite her name being Patina he calls her Sterling.

And this is Hope, my most special one to date, she's the duckling that slept under my picture and as you can see doesn't like for me to get out of her sight. She was peeping over the sink during swim time to make sure I was still there :lau

I know this is only 3 of the many I have incubated, these are the ones I remember talking about the most.. :)

So I am Totally new to incubating. I have homemade styrafoam still-air bators that have been holding temp and humidity pretty steady. #1 has 3 muscovy eggs. (one is twice the size of the other 2 and is a double yolk) they are on day 21 and everything looks good inside. #2 has 7 chickens eggs and 2 mallard eggs, on day 9, also looking good inside.

I really wish I had been taking pictures of the progress but I didn't think about it and I don't have enough hands to keeps toddlers from pawing at the eggs while I candle them. That being said, thus far it seems that the twin eggs have been developing steadily, but since they're so far along I'm having trouble telling whats_what inside, and to me it looks like the air sac is kinda small. I'm in east TN and we've had some pretty yoyo weather so the humidity was a little high(70ish%) for a few days. I candled the other 2 about 3 days ago, but I don't remember what the air sac looked like and I keep forgetting to mark it... Like I said, NEWBEE!! I was planning on checking them again soon, but I don't want to keep playing with them too much so I keep trying to read up on things to look for. And with everything else on the internet, opinions vary. Duck eggs kept 55-65% or 45-55% then upped to 70 or 80%... One place I read that was specific to muscovy said they do 65% humidity and never change it... Ahhhh. I just want them to LIVE!

So, I checked my muscovy eggs again last night and it looks like their air sacs are too small!! Theyre on day 22 this evening. Would it help to drop the humidity to say, 35% until closer to lockdown?
