Yes!! i shved my head when i was in high school! lost my date to Prom but i made some kids very happy!

My hair is an inch long and shorter all over my head. Think Haley Barry when she had her super short pixie haircut. I usually wear it spiked. It's just more convenient for me. I'm outside most of the summer with a baseball hat on my head for shade and sun protection and I periodically wear either a Dirt Bike helmet and or a Bicycle helmet. No, I am not your typical 63 year old woman. I have had women walk up to me and say "I LOVE your hair! I wish I had the courage to cut mine like yours!" I just tell them it doesn't take courage, just a pair of scissors, a hair clipper with a 3/4's inch guard on it and a mirror. If you make a mistake, it grows back in 8 weeks.

I'd cut mine shorter but then I'd be ummmm.......nearly hairless. Might be nice during the summer heat!
