2 Free Silkie Roos, Mid-Michigan

Unfortunately two of my chicks this year ended up being roosters, and I can’t keep roosters where I live. They’re both super sweet, friendly boys. One is a black and white silkie and the other is some kind of mille-fleur silkie cross. Both are beautiful birds that I wish I could keep.

I would love it they could go to the same home since they were raised together and get along super well, but if that’s not possible I think they’d do okay on their own. I’m willing to drive a bit to make sure they go to a good place!

They’re both around 5 – 5 1/2 months old (hatched late April, I don’t know the exact date). And to answer your question on the other thread, whereabouts are you? I’d go maybe an hour or so from Bay City (where I’m at).

UPDATE: unfortunately while they were out free ranging today my little orange roo was killed by a hawk. I still have the black and white roo that needs a new home but the orange one is no longer available
