2 in 1 egg

has anybody else had anything like this happen to them?

i set a egg last month that was due nov 4. it was a huge egg(we measured it 3 in.long, 6 in around). we figured it was a double yoker but set it anyway. well, it developed 2 babies, each with a separate yolk. anyway, aftrer candeling the egg several times yesterday, we decided there was no movement and no life. so we carefully opened the egg to find the 2 babies almost wrapped around each other. 1 was deformed the other one seemed pretty normal. they were both normal sized as well.even if theyd of lived, theyd undoubtably been unable to hatch. even though they both died, this was an experience i will remember.

Nope never had it happen to me yet...you would think there wasnt enough room for 2 to hatch successfully in there.

I'm incubating one right now. I can't tell that two are growing, although I thought I did see a double yolk shadow when I first set it. Something is very definitely growing-maybe a GIANT Blue Orp/Buff Brahma cross chick reminiscent of Baby Huey-remember him? This is an experiment or as Henry says, EGGSPARAMENT, LOL.

thats cool. i could tell at 10 days that there were 2 inside the egg. but then it was a white egg. i dont think i wouldve been able to tell if it was a brown egg.
