i have owned ducks for about five years now but im moving into owning chickens.
the two male ducks i have left, calvin (khakicampbell), and marty (magpie), i have had since they were only a few days old and they are now both about 2 years old.
recently they have become quite aggressive (mostly for a territorial reason) and i also have no females left. the magpie, marty, chases us and bites at our ankles, but it doesnt really hurt. the khakicampbell calvin is much less aggressive, he keeps to himself and is an all around sweet boy.
they are being aggressive to my chickens and i worry that they might end up hurting them eventually, however with other ducks im sure they would be much calmer like they were when i had females too.
i just want them to go to a good home where i know they will be safe and cared for, i dearly love them and its very hard to part with them but i think it would be best for them and me.
please if someone has a large flock and could accomodate two more males i would be very grateful and happy. they would need to go together because they are best friends and constantly together.
my sweet khakicampbell calvin has had an accident with a dog and one of his wings hangs a bit lower than the other but he is totally healed and happy now!
please let me know if you can help, i will attach pictures upon request and i would be willing to bring them to you as long as it isnt too far away
Thankyou!!
