2 Mallard Ducks in Houston, TX

I recently have 2 Mallard ducks and I can no longer take care of them I got them from TSC and they were unsexed, but I believe one of them is a boy. At least I think so. They’re 2-3 months old and their adult wings are coming through. If anyone is interested please let me know !

I'm in magnolia but hesitant to take any more drakes. Are you sure one is a hen?. I have one mallard hen.

I also have a friend in Rosharon that keeps Mallards. I can reach out to him if you like, he's not on this forum but his drake ratio is off. I currently have 10 hens and two drakes. While I wouldn't love another drake I could accommodate one. Just let me know.

Well he’s quite large compared to my other duck and he’s really aggressive, so I’m assuming so lol

Have you tried voice sexing? Female ducks quack, males are very quiet and make a raspy sound. There are a couple of YouTube videos showing the difference.

Hmmm are you sure they are both mallards? Could the bigger one be a Rouen? Mallards have one eye stripe and Rouens two. TSC often doesn't know the difference. I have been looking for a Rouen drake.

Yes for sure mallard ducks

Yes one is really chatty and one is quiet but quacks. I wanted to say the other is a girl but I’m still uncertain
