ok...i had 20 fertile eggs out of 25 when i started....on the 6th day i was given 11 Rhode Island Reds by a friend so I added them to the batch i had in the bator...2 more days to lockdown on the 20 eggs i started with....i just candled all 31 eggs and there is visible movement on 21....8 are dark shell so cant see details but there is development in them....2 Rhode Islands unfertile so ended up with 29 fertile eggs...day of lockdown i'll remove the 9 Rhode island eggs and put them on my 2nd homemade bator to finish the job....hopefully everything goes well.
