OMG! Two more hours till lock down!! Eeek i'm nervous since this is my first hatch

8:30pm
any suggestions?

Get the humidity up to around 65%, shut the lid and leave it be. You most likely won't have a 100% hatch, some may die after pipping, some may die after hatching. I'm not trying to discourage you, just prepare you for what can happen. Good luck and keep us posted!

GO CHICKIES.

Yay! Good Luck! You just might wake up to some pips in the morning. That is how it usually worked for me. I would go into lockdown and then within a day or two I had pips and usually around 8 to 24 hours from a pip they would start to zip. Zipping took anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours. I hatched out 2 batches last year. I have some chicks and ducks set right now. If you are stressing now wait till they actually start to hatch now that is when I start really stressing. It's so much fun though!

Have fun...have some due in 2 days and just set some bantams tonight - white crested black polish bantams, golden laced cochin bantams, buff cochin bantams and bantam salmon faverolles. Hoping for a good hatch, although the kids are only allowed to pick one each - always have toom nay chicks!!! :)
