2 mos old chickens and rain

Today is the first time the little darlings have experienced rain. It is a bit cool also. So after it started raining I went to check on them thinking they might be cold huddling under the coop. Nope. They are all out running around in the rain loving it. Any problem with them getting wet? Like turning into Gremlins?

They'll be fine as long as they don't eat after midnight.

OK too easy.

They should be fully feathered at 2 months, so they can play in the rain, as long as they have a nice dry, draft free coop to dry off in.

I am so glad this topic came up! It's been raining felines and canines all day, and my little feathered friends have been tucked in the barn.

I thought they were too susceptible to the cold to play outside. Now I'll know better!
