Can anyone help we have had two silkiie hens go broody about a week apart and have both chosen the same place to sit, there eggs were not fertilised, so we put some of our duck eggs under them, which they have sat on and shared quite happily, however 3 days ago our first duckling hatched, unfortunately it died over night last night, it was born 2 days early, so not sure what happened, but we found it this morning, it had wandered away from the chickens in its little pen and it looks like it just got cold over night, very sad, however our second duckling was born this morning, our black silkie keeps really pecking whenever it see it and looks quite vicious? should we remove the black silkie with the other two eggs, and leave the duckling with just the one silkie or will they both be fine in there together until the other eggs hatch ( they are about a week behind the others )

If the black silkie won't accept the duckling it would be better to remove the other silkie and the duckling and the leave the black one with the eggs. Hopefully she will accept the new ducklings when they hatch.

she just keep pecking at it, I am not sure if she is just trying to get It back under her, or being horrible?

If she's pecking it aggressively it's better to remove it. Small chicks and ducklings are vulnerable and a peck in the wrong spot (like their eyes) can cause serious injuries.
